Hello and welcome to my page!

My name is Allie (Allison)!

I am a Coloradan (meaning: born and raised in Colorado), fun, creative, animal loving, adventure seeking, knowledgeable hair stylist with over 15 years of experience behind the chair!

I am a proud graduate of the Aveda Institute of Denver (2008-2009) and the majority of my career has been spent working with Aveda and their products (2010-2020).

Education is a huge passion of mine! During my time with Aveda I became an Aveda certified in-salon educator, colour master, cutting coach, a passionate team lead, and pursued any advanced education opportunities that were presented to me. I also lead a team of skilled stylists/make-up artists for the 303 Fashion Show of 2014. I am beyond grateful to have been able to learn from the best purefessionals in the industry and to have worked alongside so many incredible, and extremely talented teams over the years! It truly was a dream come true to be a part of that company.

When the 2020 pandemic hit, I was faced with some hard decisions. After heavy consideration, I decided to retire from the hair industry. In doing this, I had to leave my dream salon/team and leave 10 years of dedication, education, and growth behind. I made this tough decision for the safety of my family (we lived with a very high risk family member at the time). It also allowed me the opportunity to invest in my future and finally pursue a degree in Psychology (still in progress).

Once I was finally settled into a new routine, and had a good handle on this new adventure, everything changed. Isn't that how it always happens? My husband was offered an incredible opportunity out here in Huntsville; so, we made the difficult decision to leave behind my lifelong (mostly) home state, Colorado, and moved down South to Sweet Home, Huntsville, Alabama.

It's been a crazy journey since we left Colorado in July 2020 with two fur-babies.

My husband and I eloped in front of a gorgeous Tennessee waterfall in Oct. 2020, purchased our first home in March of 2021, and then gained three more fur babies by Nov. of 2021 (ask me; it's worth the stories). Once life settled down, I decided to pick up a part time job assisting at The Red Door. This allowed me to save up money for school while being in, and around, the industry that I love. During this time, my passion for hair was quickly reignited, and I decided to step back behind the chair!

So, here I am, back in action as an owner of Rocky Mountain Manes, LLC.

I am so excited to share my passion, knowledge, stories, and loving energy with you all!
